ANESTHESIOLOGIST – PRACTICE IN CHRONIC PAIN
Dr. Visnjevac’s medical education has included extensive training in a large variety of interventional pain procedures, pain diagnostics for a very broad range of etiologies, imaging techniques, ultrasound and fluoroscopy, and spinal cord stimulation, including dorsal root ganglia stimulation.
He has published extensively, both in the medical literature and through the authorship of 4 books, including a medical textbook on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, for which he is considered a medical expert. Dr. Visnjevac is also involved in medical education and has given lectures on Spinal Cord Stimulation at McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, Cranial and Facial Pain Management at Western University in London, ON, as well as at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He has also taught other practicing pain physicians new techniques at the Ultrasound-Guided Nerve Block Workshop (18th Cleveland Clinic Pain Symposium, San Diego, USA).
