Our team specializes in motor vehicle accident assessments, independent medical evaluations, chronic pain assessments, and we are happy to work in collaboration with your family physician or legal team.
We assist our patients recovery program through our multidisciplinary program. This program is designed to assist patients who have been injured in a motor vehicle accident or work related accidents and continues to experience pain symptoms and restrictions far longer than would have been expected, despite receiving appropriate medical care.
The MVA assessment implements the multidisciplinary program and our objective is to improve both the physical and psychological management of pain. We have specific goal oriented programs to maximize recovery and improve functioning motor abilities all provided under the supervision of our team of experienced and supportive professionals.
All patients must complete a screening process, and a medical assessment by a chronic pain consultant. Those patients who are accepted into the multidisciplinary program must make the commitment to attend the program 5 days a week, for 8 weeks. Each week of the program has a specific emphasis, across all areas of treatment. These programs start at regular intervals, with 8 to 10 patients in each session.
