About Dr. Kevin Rod
Dr. Kevin ROD is a certified Family Physician with focused practice in Chronic pain management. He is credentialed in Chronic pain by the Canadian and American Academies of Pain Management. He established Toronto Poly Clinic as a multidisciplinary pain management center in 2001. Today, Toronto Poly Clinic has expanded its spectrum of care from core Pain Management into Whole Health and Mind Body Medicine. Toronto Poly Clinic is active in areas of clinical work, research and medical education. Medical students, Residents and Fellows are trained in Toronto Poly Clinic in affiliation with their programs in University of Toronto.
Dr. ROD is experienced in acting as Medical Investigator and consultant for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. He has provided comprehensive Insurance Medicine evaluations for many years. He uses this experience to direct the assessment activities in Toronto Poly Clinic. He is an active member of the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators and American Academy for Disability Evaluating Physicians.
Dr. ROD has special interests in Patient Education, Mental Wellness and Mind Body Medicine. He strives to be a healer that guides patients on the path to recovery and elevated life. He has established the patient education platform: mypain.ca to provide patients with free guidance on healthy living and different self management skills. He is the author of the patient self-management work book: Mind Body Temple.
